Good luck from all of us at Coast to Coast - we wish you all the best!
The Inside Ride is an excellent event for the workplace
In Canada over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer each year. Although great strides in treatment and care have been made; childhood cancer is still the leading diseaserelated cause of death for kids in Canada. Over 80% of children survive cancer. However, more than 60% of survivors of childhood cancer face late effects of their disease and treatment, including neurocognitive impairments, sterility and secondary cancers.
Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation (CTCACF) raises money and awareness for families and children affected by cancer. Our mandate is to create high quality, physically challenging events on a national basis to raise needed funding for worthy cancer charities. In doing so, we want to inspire wellness and volunteerism within our communities, and create pride and a sense of purpose in everyone who participates in these events. We will provide support where the needs are greatest, including funding of oncology camps, community support programs, academic scholarships and other areas which contribute to inspiring hope and improved prognoses for children and their families impacted by cancer.
Thank you for helping to improve the quality of life for families and children living with and through cancer.
In 2012, Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation ('CTCACF') celebrated a truly amazing year, raising and distributing over $5,000,000 for deserving childhood cancer charities across Canada! We just couldn't have done this without you, our amazing sponsors, donors, volunteers, and participants.
Together this year, we have visited hundreds of communities across the country, engaged over 15,000 participants in our events, worked with hundreds of volunteers and processed over 75,000 individual donations. Together, we have collected millions of dollars for childhood cancer and distributed 100% of every single donation we raised to the cancer charities we support across Canada. Together, we have made a meaningful difference in the lives of thousands of children and their families living with and beyond cancer.
Since we began 10 years ago with a couple of dedicated cyclists crossing the country to raise money for cancer, Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation has raised over $25 million to support charities across Canada that collectively help children across this country fighting this devastating disease.
Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation distributes donations to both local and national pediatric cancer programs to provide a total 360 degree level of support for all aspects of childhood cancer requirements

In 2013 we will continue our commitment to the Canadian childhood cancer community by continuing our efforts to raise needed funds for essential pediatric oncology programs and initiatives. To that end we will be looking to improve, increase and expand our existing events such as the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride and Tour for Kids Atlantic, increase our footprint in Quebec through partnerships with new and existing sponsors and local charities, introduce exciting new events such as KM for Kids, and enhance our support and commitment to 3rd party events which continue to grow and make important contributions to helping achieve our goal to reach a ?destination beyond cancer.?
Our Volunteers and Sponsors make it possible for us to achieve our 100% donation distribution model. 2013 will see a renewed effort to improve both our volunteer and sponsor programs to ensure that we can continue to operate as efficiently and effectively as possible. Expanding our sponsorship base, especially at the Foundation level, is critical for our sustainability and continued operation at the national level. We call on all of our supporters to help us in this effort and welcome any ideas or suggestions to make 2013 our best ever year!
We look forward to seeing all of you at our events in 2013. Until then from all of us and the 10,000 families across Canada living with kids cancer we want to thank you for all you did to make a difference in 2012.
