Ontario Parents Advocating for Children with Cancer (OPACC) is a registered charity comprised of parent support groups, survivors, and close relatives of a child/teen diagnosed with childhood cancer. Our overall goal is to be the parent voice for families with children diagnosed with cancer in Ontario. OPACC's Parent Liaison, Susan, meets with families at Sick Kids and helps to address fears or concerns they may have, directs them to hospital and community services, local support groups, and hosts weekly drop-ins at the hospital. Susan knows first-hand what these families are going through, as she is the parent of a childhood cancer survivor. All funds raised during this event will go to OPACC's overall fund in support of the Parent Liaison position as well as helping to establish and develop new and existing community-based parent support groups throughout Ontario

This year, for the third year in a row, the Inside Ride will be partnering in the community with Loyalist Collegiate and Vocational Institute (LCVI) as part of the National Inside Ride Tour. In just a short 3 years LCVI has created a tradition of passionate support for kids in Kingston living with and beyond cancer and supporting those kids and families through the services and funds offered by the Children's Cancer Fund at KGH.
