There are few families in Canada whose lives have not been touched by the devastating effects of childhood cancer, either in their immediate family or in their community of friends and co-workers.
In communities all across Canada are numerous small and medium sized grassroots organizations providing care and support to those families. These small groups of passionate people provide everything from financial support, accommodation and travel costs, survivorship programs and scholarships, bereavement, to quality of life programs, camping experiences…
Unfortunately, these organizations receive little to no funding from government and very often struggle to both fundraise and provide programming at the same time
The mandate of the Inside ride National Tour is to use our proven fundraising program to:
- provide a sustainable source of funding for the small organizations year on year so that they can maximize the support they give to families – giving them back 100% of the funds that their local event raises.
- Help connect these individual groups around their common cause to share ideas, best practices and resources as a national community caring for kids and families
